This is #MyTime …. Stop feeling guilty!
This time of year particularly; should be a time where #MyTime is a household term; bit like a buzzword. It’s a time of year where we need some time back for ourselves after giving so much to others over the festive period. Not only that; its so natural to feel selfish and guilty when we decide to do something for ourselves like taking up a new hobby, investing time into getting in shape or beginning a new fitness or weight loss journey to become a better version of you!
I can totally relate to many other parents out there and people in relationships, that guilty feeling going to the gym; leaving the kiddies and taking a few hours of the day for ourselves but you shouldn’t!!! The reality is we feel happier, more energised, less irritated and can give more back to our children and family if we like what we see in the mirror. Having a little time to ourselves for respite and that feeling we are making personal progress is amazing. This is not selfish this is just #MyTime we are all entitled to.
What people fail to realise is that this is SO important, its in fact selfless to want to self improve, its actually ambitious and highly commendable for you to decide to motivate yourself and to commit to a new goal. With this in mind I feel people should just communicate to others better and share the reasons why they need #MyTime this way those concerned can accommodate for each other and make the journey much easier with a little team work. Through my experience working with people half the battle is getting people to understand why you want to go to the gym or eat clean therefore because of the resistance from others; people tend to give up the battle and just settle, for the sake of others.
Knowing where to start, which rabbit to catch first!
Nutrition, Training and supplements…. Jeez I don’t envy beginners, it’s a mind field, so many gurus, so many conflicting methods and so much effort to try and learn what the heck to do! This seems like an uphill run before even considering what to wear to the gym (that you wont feel self-conscious wearing).
It’s so important to have structure; to be consistent and to ‘trust the process’; a phrase I use regularly with my clients.
One of my down falls is self-promotion or as I like to call it ‘blowing smoke up my ass’ but if I could then I would be shouting from the rooftops “I CAN HELP” combat these worries, fears and struggles. This was the reason I developed the step by step guided programme that has accompanying videos to go with all the training and personalised nutrition plans. I want to be able to give people my Secrets to success and the key to happiness by taking out the guesswork.
Eighteen tailored dishes (to the gram) for each individual, weekly workouts, full online tracking and I even teach you how to body fat calliper yourself; these are just a few of the benefits to the programme. I have also devised a supplement plan with a guide on ‘when to take’ them.
I know supplement companies these days can overwhelm us with products but many of them are; at the same time really trying to help and giving lots of free information, the question is…. what to believe and which to trust!!!! One of which I recommend this fat loss bundle that seemed very reasonable for the price and I thought it was a great starter to fat loss and for those beginning a weight loss journey.
I understand how hard it is to ask for help; reaching out to someone for guidance can be intimidating or embarrassing and many of us don’t like to have to ask. I would love to help those reading this article even if it is simply by making you feel its ok to ask for help and there are people like myself out there that just want the best for you; not everyone is there to just make a few quid; I genuinely do care about the struggles and self destruction people face because of the lack of self belief and confidence. I wish when I was starting out my fitness journey I could have found someone or somewhere to turn to with the answers; instead I spent years searching and learning to get to where I am today; I understand its not an easy process.
Anyone looking for help or guidance I would be more than happy to help just drop me an email nina@ninassecret.co.uk
Good luck and stay positive!
